In 2017 the market space at Arts in the Olives will have a range of artisan goods and gourmet food items on offer.
You’ll find pickled nibbles with Jules Yummy and gorgeous baskets to stow the products of your dreams at Twig – Cindy Wood in the Treehouse.
There will be olives picked and processed by hand by Glynn and Barbara from Scenic Rim Olives and more of same from Ian and Dot of Coolana Olives who have been at the festival from the outset.
Desley and Pietro will be there again by popular acclaim, with gelato and pizza and more delicious Italian fare at the picturesque Hut Cafe and they’ll be vying with the Potters across the way, who are selling food as well as pots.
Artisan stalls will be offering beautiful handmade goods like exotic felting from GayleVan Der Meer and Gail Grunske . You’ll find lovely soaps from Lou of Tangerine Bay and when you need a break, grab a wine from Barney Creek or Bunjurgen and sit in the shade near the stage for the music.
You’ll enjoy finding Cheryl with her original creations and a mug from the potters stall to sip coffee from Jennifer at Coffee Angels or Richard at Cafe Silipo – or perhaps you’ll choose tea with a cake by the river.
There will be more of course, to browse and taste and soak up and hear so hope to run into you somewhere in the grove, or near the stage with the sweet music, or by the busy little river.
With all these distractions, don’t forget to book in to your favourite workshop.
