Crochet Fruit Brooches- Lucy-Belle Rayner

In this workshop you will learn the basic crochet stitches (chain, double and treble stitch) in order to complete a fruit brooch.

 Crochet is a process in which a hook and single thread is used to make motifs which can be incorporated into various forms, including clothing, bed covers, table cloths etc.

It is an ancient textile technique and whilst the origins are not entirely clear, the first written evidence of crochet appears in the early eighteen hundreds.

In this workshop the basic crochet stitches will be learnt and then combined in order to complete a fruit brooch by the end of the session.

MATERIALS CHARGE  $10.00-

this will include: fruit brooch pattern (including basic stitch instructions), crochet hook, yarn, sewing needle (to construct the brooch), and brooch back.
