Workshop description

Saturday — Create your own floral and insect Sculptural forms using plant fibres, recycled materials and Basketry techniques.

Sun.( am) Create a small twined basket with stitched border using plant fibres, wool and twine and recycled materials

Sun (pm)  Make your own small stitched basket using plant fibres and recycled materials. Add embellishments using seeds , shells and found objects


Session time – Saturday – Full Day.

                                    Sunday – Half Days

Maximum number of participants  –   12

 

Participants should bring-:Old towel, an apron, scissors, secataurs ,perhaps your own chair.

If people do want to bring anything …perhaps for the Stitched Basket W’shop if they had any nice wool or linen thread or whatever they’d like to stitch with they could bring this (a personal favourite is Nepalese Raw Silk which is rather expensive but worth it.
